PS: Your gallery is yours alone, never shared online. Any portfolio use is always asked.

I'm Kaz, been behind the lens for over 10 years, chasing light, connection, and the kind of everyday magic most people walk right past. Wonderlens was inspired by Alice in Wonderland — because life is full of strange, beautiful moments if you know where (and how) to look. For me, that magic shows up when people are in their element — relaxed, laughing, slightly awkward but fully themselves. That’s what I’m here to capture.

Based in New Zealand, I shoot boudoir, elopements, and portraits. My passion spans both film & digital photography, blending the nostalgia of reel film and the precision of digital artistry.

Sessions are tailored to you, lifestyle studio, hotel, a mini roadie with an Airbnb, the comfort of your own home, your favourite café or some of New Zealand's most beautiful spots. Wherever it feels right, we can make it happen.

  • I encourage you to check out my gallery & Instagram to get an understanding of my style. I only do minor touch-ups & will never alter the way you look or replace a background of milky waves or add a blue sky on a not-so-sunny day.

    My photography style blends natural light with the contrast of black & white, creating emotive images with a light mood. I love playing with various lighting techniques to capture both vibrant & intimate moments, ensuring each frame tells a compelling story.

    I have always had an eye for capturing the beauty of a person in the swift of the moment. Visual storytelling has become second nature to me. By using natural lighting and comfortable locations, I create authentic, engaging, and timeless images.

    Fun Experience
    I know that not everyone loves being in front of the camera, as it can feel a bit stern or awkward. (I totally do that too in group photos!) With me, it's more than just taking photos – it's about having fun & feeling at ease! 🎉I am good at making the experience enjoyable.

  • Photo Packages
    Including a minimum of 1 hour shooting, pre and post-work. Plans start from NZD 350. Payment plans are available. Discounts are available for all referrals.

    All images are selected, edited and ready for you in 2-4 weeks.

    Please note: No refunds are available for sold works

  • Additional time beyond your booked session is available upon request, subject to availability. Extended session rates vary by service — $150/hr for boudoir & portrait sessions, $350/hr for elopement packages.

  • Sessions are available for a maximum of 5 people. To add more people, please reach our for a pricing guide.

  • I am based in the lovely West Auckland. Happy to travel all over Auckland for shoots. Travel or parking costs may apply. But if I am travelling to your area (out of Auckland) already, any travel costs will be waived.

  • Your location(s) of choosing!

    I love playing with natural light & experimenting with different lighting setups, so we can shoot outdoors, at your favourite cafe, in your cozy home or office, or anywhere else that inspires you.

    However, I don't do flash photography or set up indoor studio shoots.

  • Whatever you like!

    Whatever you are comfortable with. An oversized T, cocktail dress, or unicorn-themed PJ. Just be you & I will handle the rest.

    And yes, you are more than welcome to do an outfit change. I welcome it all!

  • Happy to offer some suggestions on what may or may not work well. And if you decide no activities, that’s absolutely cool too! We can find a local beach that is special to you, or a panic spot or your go-to cafe.

    If you love the magic of golden hour like I do, then Auckland’s West Coast is always an option. The key thing is to have fun & just be you. I am here to take care of the rest. 😊

Use of Photos

Let's do it

(a) Wonderlens, we, our or us means Wonderlens Photography

(b) You or your means any business or person who engages us to provide products or services

(c) All services performed and digital/artworks provided are strictly based on the terms and conditions set out in the chosen services unless otherwise agreed in writing with us

(d) Booking is confirmed via email or any other written format, with your confirmation and acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in the chosen services or quote

(e) Image packages include a set number of edited photos, with the optional choice to purchase extra images at $80 each

A $200 or $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required to secure booking

Remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the shoot date
Payment options available, final photos will only be delivered after full payment has been received

For expedited service, there is an additional cost of $200 for 24-48 hour completion. No refunds are available for sold works

Cancellations require 48 hours' notice. If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, a $200 rebooking fee will apply
This acts as a non-refundable deposit for new session time

All referrals are eligible for a discount. Let us know where you heard about us to claim yours

Yes, you can absolutely purchase our services as a gift
The receiver must present written confirmation from us upon their booking or appointment

The same cancellation policy applies to gift purchases
By booking our services, you agree that Wonderlens may use your photos on our website and social media content only

By using our services and confirming your booking via email, you consent to the terms and conditions and the privacy policy outlined above

Conduct & Consent
All sessions are designed to be a safe, empowering space for the person being photographed.

Any third-party bookings (e.g. gifting a session to someone else) must be discussed openly and approved in writing by the subject.
The person being photographed must give full, informed consent to participate.

Requests of a sexual nature or that breach consent, personal boundaries, or wellbeing will result in immediate cancellation without refund.

We reserve the right to refuse service or end a session at any time if behavior is inappropriate or causes discomfort or concern for safety.
